Another lovely friend and client of mine had the amazing Robert Pring out to have a chat with her horse, Ziggy. Lots of very relevant things were said and it explained a fair bit about some of his behaviour. Ziggy also mentioned that he enjoys his massages it has prompted a few changes in his regime and we will see how he progresses over the next few weeks, but so far so good.
So my #toptiptuesday for this week is listening to your horse. Remember they don’t have the ability to be malicious, they simply react to a range of different stimuli. Some horses whisper, some horses shout. But, they are simply trying to tell you something isn’t right if their behaviour changes. Even if it’s something they’ve always done since you’ve owned them, your horse is communicating in the only way they know-how.
Listen. There will be a reason.
